Goldfields Involvement, 1854

George Morgan was born around 1825 in Shrewsbury, England. A draper, he lived with his wife Sarah in Staffordshire, England in 1851. Charles Evans was listed as a servant in the same establishment. [1] George Morgan emigrated on the Star of the East with Frederick Humffray and J.B. Humffray. Morgan had a tent and flag making store on Main Road, Ballarat East.
