Background
Antonio Gervasoni was born in 1850 at Bergamo, Italy. He died at Dunolly, Victoria in 1898, aged 48.
Goldfields Involvement, 1854
According to family tradition one of the Polinelli family took part in the defence of the Eureka Stockade.
Post 1854 Experiences
In 1892 Antonio Polinelli was listed as owning four acres of vines at Dunolly, Victoria. In 1894 a Mr Polinelli was a coffin bearer for Mrs John Neill, whose husband had fought at the Eureka Stockade as a member of the 40th Regiment.
