EUREKA STOCKADE ANNIVERSARY - The 92nd anniversary of the Eureka Stockade was celebrated at Ballarat on Saturday. The scene at Bakery Hill in 1854 when the diggers swore fidelity to the Reform League was re-enacted by Messrs B. Darcy, A. Wakeling, and J. Scott, and a religious ceremony was conducted by Rev K. P. Goodison. Mr Stoneham, Minister for Transport, was present. [1]
