He was an enginedriver by occupation, and for over 30 years was a member of the Stawell branch of the Miners' Association, of which he was also a trustee. A very old resident of Stawell, Mr W.? Tauschke had died. He arrived in Victoria in 1849. He was at the Eureka Stockade. [3]
