Background
Henri De Brot was born at Switzerland c1835. [1] He sailed to Australia on the Earl of Charlemont which was shipwrecked off Barwon Head on 18 June 1853. Henri married Ellen Norris. He died on 21 October 1909 at Broomfield.[2]
Goldfields Involvement, 1854
Debrot was in Ballarat at the time of the Eureka Stockade.[3]
Post 1854 Experiences
In 1868 Henry De Brot of Sebastopol at 25 shares in Young Albion Quartz and Alluvial Gold Mining Company.[4]
