Henry Reed (or Read) was seen inside the Eureka Stockade on 03 December 1854 by Sub-Inspector Samuel Furnell. When the shooting had finished Purnell called out to Reed to surrender. When Reed refused a trooper entered the stockade to apprehend him. [1]
