Post 1854 Experiences
At the 1920 Jubilee Celebrations for Ballarat:
Mr G. Kierl (Sebastopol) said his father took a prominent part in the Eureka Stockade. He himself had lived in Sebastopol for over 60 years and had seen that place have many ups and downs. It was a good place to live in, and they would like to see any of the old pioneers come there to settle. He hoped the day was not far distant when Sebastopol would join a united Ballarat. (Hear, hear.)
He is not listed in the pioneers who were present at the celebrations.[1]
