Obituary

Mr. Thomas Bodycomb, for a number of years manager of the Phoenix Foundry, at Ballarat, died on Sunday in his 90th year. He was born in Glamorganshire, in Wales, in 1829, and was a patternmaker before coming to Australia.
He was in Ballarat at the time of the Eureka Stockade trouble, and was one of those who assisted Captain Wise, who had been mortally, wounded. Mr. Bodycomb was a member of the Exhibition Commission, and the oldest justice of the peace in Ballarat.[1]
