Obituary
- Mr. Thomas Bodycomb, for a number of years manager of the Phoenix Foundry, at Ballarat, died on Sunday in his 90th year. He was born in Glamorganshire, in Wales, in 1829, and was a patternmaker before coming to Australia.
- He was in Ballarat at the time of the Eureka Stockade trouble, and was one of those who assisted Captain Wise, who had been mortally, wounded. Mr. Bodycomb was a member of the Exhibition Commission, and the oldest justice of the peace in Ballarat.[1]
