Alexander McCrea

Background
Alexander was the son of Dr William McCrae and Georgiana McCrea. He lived at Ballarat and was recroded in the 1855 Electoral Roll, under the electoral qualification of Miner's Right.
Goldfields Involvement, 1854
He joined the Mounted Police in December 1853 and at the age of 18 years was on duty at Eureka. He resigned form the Force three months later.
