Goldfields Involvement, 1854

Thomas Fitzgerald was one of ten people charged with the burning of James Bentley's Eureka Hotel on 17 October 1854. He was arrested on 21 October and sentenced to four months imprisonment, although there were accounts of him being a long way from the hotel.
