Obituary

Mr Thomas Moylan, one of the early settlers of the Loddon district, died on Sunday evening, at the age of over 100 years. He came to the colony in 1841, and was at Ballarat at the time of the Eureka Stockade, but escaped that fight through being called to Geelong on account of the death of a relative. He has frequently made it his boast that he recorded his vote for Dan O'Connell before leaving Ireland.[1]
