Background
Daniel Dark was born in 1821, the son of Daniel Dark and Charlotte Gould. He married AnnStrawbridge and they had five Ballarat born children.[1]
He died in July 1910 and was buried in the Ballaarat Old Cemetery.[2]
Goldfields Involvement, 1854
Daniel Dark was a miner who signed the Benden Hassell Compensation Case Petition in 1855.
Post 1854 Experiences
Dark worked as a sawyer. The Dark family lived in Humffray Street. [3]
